Design and deliver complex IT solutions for SoftwareONE customers
Analyze business and user requirements
Translate business requirements into functional architecture
Create detailed design and architecture documentation
Maintain and report on service delivery and project status
Provide expert guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy
Support project management team and other consultants in the planning, management, and delivery of customer engagements
Maintain and acquire advanced level technical certification(s) in assigned area
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Create, maintain, and update document templates, architecture, and standards
Contribute to offering development and written proposals
Support sales teams with effort estimation, proposal creation and / or review, and other pre-sales activities
Coordinate and hand over repeatable processes to remote service teams
Assist with end user and technical administrator training, where needed
What we need to see from you
Experience designing, planning, and deploying workloads within the Microsoft Office 365 platform
Experience deploying Microsoft identity solutions such as Azure AD Connect and ADFS
Successful deployment and / or migration experience with at least one of the following technologies in large customer environments :
OneDrive for Business
Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) solutions
A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering complex IT solutions, preferably as a systems integrator, consultant, or as part of a professional services organization.
Ability to work independently and stay organized when assigned to multiple projects concurrently
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners, and peers
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
Ability to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures
Ability to develop architecture design deliverables that map customer business requirements to solutions and technologies.
Ability to travel within North America and other locations
Bachelor’s degree in the field of information technology or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Current Microsoft 365 certifications
Knowledge or experience in any of the following additional specialty areas (preferred but not required) :
Large-scale Exchange Online migrations (10,000+ mailbox)
Large-scale OneDrive for Business migrations (10,000+ user)
Large-scale M365 Apps for Business (formerly ProPlus) deployments
Migration to Office 365 workloads from non-Microsoft platforms (Google, Groupwise, Lotus Notes, Box, DropBox, etc.)
Cloud-based identity solutions (Okta, etc.)
Migration tools : BitTitan, Transvault, Sharegate, etc.
Enterprise voice deployment using Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams
Security assessments and best practices
Team leadership experience (or other experience in a mentoring / coaching role)
