An iGaming industry leader in Costa Rica is looking for a full time SEO Director to join their team in their office in Escazú, San José, Costa Rica.
We are looking for a passionate and analytical SEO Director to join our marketing team and pursue world-class, white hat SEO.
As a member of the team, you will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and be responsible for all aspects of our site’s SEO.
You will plan, define, develop, and execute SEO strategies, roadmap, and KPIs. You will be responsible for driving results and contributing to the overall SEO strategy, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Take responsibility for the SEO results and direct ownership of executing an SEO strategy
Regularly identify ways to measurably improve the SEO of our site
Execute exceptional and up-to-date technical SEO capabilities including but not limited to crawling, indexing, page speed performance, internal linking, etc.
Work with the development team to implement SEO improvements; own all steps of your projects
Monitor performance metrics to understand organic search performance in the US
Coordinate and communicate with technology, brand, and creative teams and align the roadmap
Define and communicate business and technical SEO requirements to Product and Development teams on a daily / weekly basis
Partner with our Data teams to launch dashboards and workflow tools that help track SEO KPI’s
Drive meaningful acquisition and growth for the business through leveraging data to achieve results
Establish analytics and data that provide insightful, real-time insights on performance, opportunities, and site performance
Deliver weekly department reports
7 - 10+ years SEO experience either in-house or with an agency
Self-started, proactive with extensive knowledge of the search engine industry and knowledge of search engine algorithms
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Ability to measure performance with a focus on scale, growth, and business impact
Strong understanding of core SEO practices including technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, content marketing, internal linking, and link building
Strong ability to execute technical SEO requirements
Familiarity with standard SEO analytics (rank tracking, web analytics, backlink analysis, etc)
Ability to build tests to measure the impact of SEO changes
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills who can coordinate with stakeholders, content team, design team, and development team
Must be an adaptable, flexible team-player who actively seeks constructive feedback
Meticulous attention to detail and execution against tight timelines
Ability to be agile and succeed in, as well as enjoy, a fast-paced environment
Incredibly organized and capable of executing the SEO strategies and digital projects
Gaming industry knowledge a plus
