Summary : The Complementary Workforce Program Manager will have operational responsibility for the centralized corporate recruitment and procurement of contractors for Smith+Nephew.

The CW Manager will serve as the primary liaison with hiring managers to guide them through the contractor acquisition process and use of the vendor management system and will act as the primary liaison with staffing agencies for requisition engagement, screening, and hiring.

Key responsibilities : Act as the first escalation point for MSP program support and issue resolutionsActively participate in quarterly supplier reviews and participate in TA / HR initiatives linked with contractorsAdvice on Procurement processes linked to the MSP, such as RFP, RFI, etc.

Assist with contractor recruitment globally as requiredAssume lead role on all internal and external queries, escalations, and requests related to MSPConduct regular audits of all program activity and implement immediate and sustainable remediation activity to ensure year-on-year cost savings are achievedDelivery of scheduled and ad-hoc operational and financial reports to stakeholdersIndependently manage contractor requests and inquiries, performing the tasks associated with the selection, procurement, onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of contractors using the Fieldglass system.

Lead the effort to process the necessary onboarding / offboarding tasks to ensure seamless integration of contractors by collaborating with other groupsLead the transition for all contractor headcount into the program that comes with mergers & acquisitionsManage MSP supplier contract negotiationsManage S+N's compliance with all legislation around engaging temporary workers, IR35, AWR, Misclassification, etc.

Monitor key compliance metrics from our staffing and vendor suppliers to include background screen compliance and onboarding form compliance with a strong focus on continuous improvementMonitor SLA performance for compliance with organizational needs and requirementsPartner closely with the MSP to drive performance towards KPI’s and SLA’sProvide PO / invoice support to stakeholdersProvide regular and ad-hoc data and trends analysis for HRLT / Ex-CO on the recruitment process, contractor procurement, and agency effectivenessProvide VMS (Fieldglass) support to usersRun the contractor audit processUpdate process documentation and ensure processes are clearly communicated to all stakeholders on an ongoing basisWork closely with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organization and manage tactical operations of the contingent workforce programRequirements : Education : A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Work experience : 4 - 6 years working on an MSP program with a focus on negotiating contracts and establishing end-to-end contingent workforce best practices Proficient in SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, Workday & Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of legislation around contractor engagements in the US and UK, such as IR35, AWR, co-employment, risks, etc.

Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects / tasksExperience working across various levels of an organization, while building trust and fostering collaborationStrong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate with and respond to questions from managers, executives, agencies, and contractorsAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and solve problemsProven negotiations and influencing skillsTravel : LimitedWork
