  • Lead the Back office Cost Accounting team to guarantee the fulfillment of the department objectives.
  • Manage the retained mill general ledger accounting organization (including plant accounting, cost of sales accounting) to deliver current job functions at a high level.
  • Coordinate that all BOM's, Rate routing, Production Versions and in general all Production Master Data be updated by the Operation teams in a quarterly base.
  • Analyze and authorize the standard costs calculated by the cost analysts to certify they were calculated in compliance with the CFI's, and under the internal procedures.
  • Guarantee that the mill variances against the standard cost will be between the acceptance range established during the target settings.
  • Actively review internal processes for opportunities to drive efficiencies or cost saving.
  • Ensure the application of established financial controls within the department by the effective implementation and maintenance of financial policies, the establishment, maintenance and audit of effective and reliable control procedures that meet SOX and Internal Control requirements.
  • Ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards. Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related.
  • 7+ years of experience in similar positions (RTR, costs)
  • 4+ years of experience as a leader
  • Intermediate-advanced English level
  • SAP and Excel knowledge
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Portugues (nice to have)
