The upcoming Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo in Jalisco, Mexico rests on 3,000 acres of a protected natural reserve on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

Most of its 155 rooms will boast exceptional panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, enveloped by the surrounding jungle and lush golf course.

The Leisure Sales Manager is an in market-based role, that can be done remotely. The successful candidate must have previous experience selling in the travel industry market in the east coast region of the US, ideally with resort experience.

  • Master Your Craft :

    The East Coast Leisure Sales Manager promotes and sells to the leisure market in defined geographic region for the Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo.

    Generates hotels / resorts awareness through direct phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking groups. Works closely with sales and marketing teams to solicit, sell and confirm leisure business required to meet budgeted sales goals for their property.

    Candidate should possess the ability to solicit leisure travel. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision making and managing confidential information of the property.

    As Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo is an emerging destination previous experience managing an emerging destination would be advantageous.

    Has the ability to be a Public Ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels.

    Desired Skills and Experience :

  • Resort Pre-Opening Experience Preferred.
  • Residency in Market Location Preferred.
  • The passion of a leader with aptitude, management skills and upward mobility and desire to thrive as Leisure Sales Manager for the resort for 3-5 years.
  • Understanding of high-end luxury Resort product.
  • Demonstrate passion for the destination and the Mexican Culture.
  • Excellent English and Spanish as preferred but not essential.
  • Luxury hotel Sales minimum of 5 years in the East Coast market. Proven sales track record required
  • Identify and target leisure agencies that will generate business on behalf of hotel but not conflict with WSO efforts.
  • Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of hotel.
  • Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, WSO customer events and reporting for leisure business development.
  • Follow up on all business inquiries and leads and qualify business to generate leisure room nights.
  • Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum leisure revenue and budgeted leisure targets are achieved.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined.
  • Assist Director of Sales in the development of new programs and sales campaigns in an effort to obtain additional sales from the various market niches.
  • Assist Director of Sales with the implementation, follow-through and updating of the quarterly action plans.
  • Explores new ways to increase revenue.
  • Pre-opening experience is a plus!
