Your Responsibilities :
The Hub Senior Controller manages and is responsible for the performance of the finance team supporting the Regional Business Unit (US, Other NA or LATAM) by delivering right first-
time reporting and analysis which is insightful, fast and supports the business to develop accurate plans in a strong controls and assurance environment.
The Senior Controller helps to deliver the Finance vision of a world class finance function recognised by industry, the profession and our people which underpins the GSK vision.

Working within our technology enabled finance hub, the Senior Controller will play a key role in creating a high performing team responsible for delivering Close and Control activities for Americas (North America and LATAM) markets as well as delivering more complex accounting activities.
Accountable for the reporting of financial results for the entities they are responsible for, with commentary including income, balance sheet and cash flow which is accurate and complete.
Manage all aspects of the financial month end review process, including Operational Excellence and Headcount reporting requirements, facilitating month end meetings, maintaining risk register & co-
ordinating with all external partners.
Ensure all aspects of the Inventory & Profit transfer release are well managed and Profit & Lost reporting is accurate
Perform variance analysis for Balance Sheet, Operating expenses, Margins and Profitability, review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
Participate & contribute into business reviews meetings as appropriate
Owns the Market balance sheet including write off / back decisions
Ensure entities results are fully compliant with all relevant accounting standards, current best practice and any other regulations
Ensure business complies with all aspects of the internal / external financial control environment, including published accounting papers and policies
Sign-off of statutory results with in-market Finance Directors
Supports and is responsible for the inputs to the external and internal financial audits
Additional activities as required by the Finance Directors
Basic qualifications :
Qualified accountant-Bachelor’s Degree
Extensive post qualification experience, preferably within a similar operating model and the same sector
Finance Controller experience
Expertise in creating or extracting information from / to excel and use of advanced formulas
Strong expertise in local and regional accounting principles and ensure that are applied to the financial statements.
Proficient level of problem solving & innovation.
English Level : C1
Preferred Qualifications :
Portuguese and / or French will be considered a plus.
