time junior software engineer to join our team in Franklin, TN.
The Software Developer will focus on development of Web UI applications with emphasis of development in back-end processing applications and services utilizing the full software development life cycle.
The Developer will design, analyze and implement all areas / phases of product development in a Microsoft environment including but not limited to research, design, development, testing, and support of Experian Health software products.
Major Job Functions :
1. Write software including maintenance and new programs.2. Analyze, design, develop, code and implement programs in one or more programming languages, for a specific assigned software system or systems.
3. Identify application, database software, and programming problems.4. Assess the health and performance of software applications and databases.
5. Participate and maintain relationships with business units, customers and information technology subject matter experts in order to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology issues, risks and functional / integration issues.
6. Advise on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities to customers and other impacted parties.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
1-3 years of software development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or other related subject
Experience in .NET software development using VB.NET / C# and Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL
Full SDLC experience
Knowledge of healthcare standard formats including X12 transactions and HL7 messages
Working experience in the financial and administrative areas of the healthcare industry strongly preferred
Knowledge and experience in working with agile development methodology preferred
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employer
Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
