As a Global Procurement Director, you'll lead a procurement team of 20+ members in six different sites in the US and Mexico helping them move from a tactical to a strategic approach! Although we prefer this role to be in El Paso, TX or Santa Teresa, NM we would consider remote workers in the Southwest US.

How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

Define and lead the execution of the supply chain strategy ensuring that maximum benefit is realized from any leverage opportunities across multiple site locations in region and globally as well as continuous review and analysis of the strategy are required to accommodate changes in market dynamics.

In this role, you will formulate strategy, recommend, and implement solutions and adjust according to business requirements.

Establish, document, and complete site Category Strategies and conduct regular reviews on strategy with key collaborators to report on supplier performance and critical initiatives and identify (short / medium / long term) risks, and develop / implement appropriate risk mitigation plans and KPIs (metric tracking) that challenge and drive suppliers to deliver continuous improvement ideas on cost in the region to PIP forward planning as well as leading and handling contract negotiations with suppliers and Site teams.

Provide input to global procurement processes, policies, and procedures to enhance the management of supplier spend.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field required.

Bilingual in English / Spanish

Strong leadership experience delivers results, inspire change, and build and empower a team with wide-ranging strengths.

International travel is required in this position.
