Leads the recruitment team responsible for supporting the business’s professional positions across Tech Data.
In addition to owning the recruiting function for a designated client group, the Supervisor manages the employment operations process, relationships with vendors, and assists in tracking and forecasting related budget information to ensure Tech Data's overall employment goals are met.
Ownership of employment process regulatory compliance.
Provides leadership and direction to Talent Acquisition team.
Plans, conducts and supervises complex searches ;for candidates for designated job vacancies utilizing various recruitment ;strategies.
Responsible for building partnering relationships with the business to help guide and influence decisions to ensure the selection of the most appropriate candidate
Staying abreast to the recruitment activities of the team to proactively identify challenges and create solutions.
Continuously review process and tools to identify innovated solutions
Updating TA Manager on issues and solutions
Partner closely with TA Manager on strategy and future resource needs
Reviews employment applications and resumes and ;evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation
needs and other qualifications of applicants.
Conducts telephone interviews and reference checks to ascertain qualifications and prescreen applicants so jobs ;vacancies can be filled.
Provides information on company facilities and ;job opportunities to potential applicants.
Analyzes job requirements in order to establish ;hiring criteria.
Analyzes resume qualifications and matches with ;hiring criteria in order to approve candidates for referral to ;supervisors / manager
Develops and manages a calendar of recruiting events / activities
Through ongoing communication with hiring managers, reinforces and educates Tech Data’s Diversity and Inclusion philosophies.
Networks with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees. ; ;Strategic Sourcing
Recruitment plan development
Responsible for identifying appropriate metrics / meeting targets
Manages and negotiates vendor contracts
Maintains effective relationships with job boards, recruiting boards, staffing agencies
Regulatory Compliance / Operations
Identifies, analyzes and implements solutions / recommended process improvements for employment operations
Ensures compliance with OFCCP recruiting guidelines.
Communicates and interacts regularly with the management / HR Directors of assigned client groups in order to identify emerging employment process issues.
Works with appropriate resources to ensure forecasts and budgets are accurately maintained and reported.
Ongoing monitoring of recruiting costs to ensure within budget.
Reports to upper management on staffing initiatives and results. Recommends process improvements that are in compliance with company policies
Works with Manager, Talent Acquisition to identify and incorporate recruitment staffing benchmarks, metrics, goals and best practices.
Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Employment Vendors.
Responsible for coordinating ongoing business reviews with Employment Vendors. ; ;Leadership / Training and Development
Supervises day-to-day work activities of employment team.
Provides guidance to recruiters to help build a strong relationship with hiring managers
Conducts semi-annual and ;annual performance evaluations
Identifies professional development opportunities ;Branding
Ensures that Tech Data’s Employment Brand is consistently and professionally represented by the employment team and supporting resources at community recruitment events.
leverages sites to drive applicant flow and brand awareness.

Educational / Experience Requirements :
SHRM Certification preferred
Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant senior recruiting experience
Prior management experience preferred
Prior recruiting experience with Affirmative Action planning preferred
