The challenge

The Head of Education will be responsible for growing ’ Institutions vertical. This executive will drive the strategic vision, global acquisition, conversion and retention strategy for the world’s best creative apps targeting global educational institutions.

This is a high-profile leadership role that includes managing an elite team of product marketing professionals, partnering closely with product and engineering, and driving alignment with different product teams across the Creative Cloud.

The successful candidate will be a business leader with strong strategy instincts and experience growing a large digital business, and ideally with experience in growing a vertical market.

This person will have the proven ability to anticipate trends, gain key insights, and make strategic decisions toward scaling this business.

What you’ll do

  • Build the long-term strategic plan for the Education institution business and HED and K12, collaborating with cross-functional leaders and driving buy-in from senior executives
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy (market sizing, segmentation, trends, priorities, positioning & messaging, major initiatives, OKRs across the business, etc.
  • for CC & DC in Education Institutions

  • Execute the go-to-market strategy by enabling Marketing, Sales, and Partners to successfully tell our story and support customers through their journey
  • Bring new products to market in partnership with Product & Marketing teams, from concept to design to build to use & renewal.
  • Define business model & pricing strategy in partnership with Finance & GTM teams, to maximize lifetime value of the next generation of creators
  • Drive partnerships to scale distribution, adoption, and engagement so that we can accelerate our strategy
  • Manage and grow the team focused on product marketing for Education Institutions
  • Set OKRs and manage the budget & resourcing allocation to achieve them
  • Maintain expertise on the Education Institutions market, including customer personas, competitive landscape, and major trends via primary and secondary research
  • Evolve the business over time by identifying improvements, running pilots / tests of new programs / capabilities, and driving the business case for new operational investments
  • What you need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in product marketing in high-tech. Software and SaaS experience is required
  • Proven success in driving business results in a growing enterprise software category
  • Demonstrated experience building and driving growth plans in a specific vertical; education preferred
