Bacardi Global Service Center is looking for high performing individuals who are success driven and interested in a career at Bacardi.
The accounting specialist / professional position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen accounting and finance competencies.
You will gain experience managing Project Accounting and Advertising and Promotion WBS project processes while also gaining exposure to the entire R2R organization, Period End Close & Global organizations.
This role provides support and training needed to develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career Bacardi.
The BGSC is a global business operation supported by the Bacardi executive and senior leaders throughout the organization.
Perform transactional and analytical tasks related to the Advertising and Promotion team within the Bacardi Global Services Center.
Participate in the execution of the following tasks :
Advertising and Promotion Master data creation (WBS s) and maintenance
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation (BBSR)
Month end processes including checks and validations
POS / VAP / BOC Accounting
Intercompany expenses recharges (ensuring no intercompany variances and adequate control per Project accounting procedures)
3rd Party Accounting and Joint Venture accounting for Advertising expenses
Calculation, review and posting of accounting journal entries
Development and issuance of financial reports
Financial data reporting
Be able to respond and support auditor s requests
Support implementation of new projects related to the area
Communicate effectively with internal Bacardi clients as necessary to ensure that work is properly delivered.
Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements pertaining to Project Accounting processes.
Identify and execute on potential process improvements.
Lead demanding projects for A&P team, such as Forging the Future initiatives, Fiscal Year End coordination, audits, etc.
Develop capability and technical mastery within the team.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have / be :
Previous experience in Accounting roles (Advertising and Promotion desired but not mandatory).
Knowledge of SAP environment.
Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage the time efficiently.
Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets.
Ability to create capability in other members of the team, in a way that the technical mastery can be transmitted to them.
Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter who requires minimal direction and support.
Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment.
Advanced knowledge MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
English 90% (oral and written).
The following experiences are preferred :
Experience in the Spirits and / or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage
Solid knowledge of Bacardi Business Partner / Shared Services / Centre of Expertise
Experience in Shared Services environment preferred
Foreign language skills (English) preferred
Relevant education :
University degree in Accounting / Business / Finance or related discipline.
Ability to communicate in English. Advance speaking is a must since the market contact is a daily task.
