Job Purpose / Summary
The Contracting Associate is a member of a client dedicated procurement service delivery team responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements according to the client’s policies and processes.
The Contracting Associate collaborates with the team’s strategic sourcing and category managers, legal counsel, business partners, other internal stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to maximize client value while managing and mitigating risk.
The team member manages contract types ranging from simple to complex, which may include master agreements, statements of work, amendments, NDAs, proofs of concept, etc.
This role frequently interacts with senior members of the client’s organization, so he or she must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable leading and participating in discussions across levels and cultures.
