Job Description

Develops strong relationships with business partners to understand processes and identify value drivers and areas for improvement.

Role models cross geo collaboration with peer analysts in other HR groups i.e., Global Pay & Stock, Global Benefits & Retirement Program Offices, Process Systems Optimization, etc.

The Pay & Benefits Business Analyst (BA) serves a liaison between the department sub-teams US Payroll, Latin America Payroll, and Benefits & Retirement and other Service Lines to help influence strategic direction and decision making through compelling data analysis and interpretation.

Must be capable of communicating, explaining, and articulating operational issues with the customers / key partners / stakeholders and translate these inputs and findings into tangible business requirements while building highly effective / collaborative partnerships with key partner groups.

The BA is expected to obtain, sort, analyze and interpret ambiguous data points from various sources and draw out compelling business cases, ad hoc reports, solutions and analysis that are articulated thru a value proposition in an executive level summary format to shape and influence decision making.

Works on sustaining projects & / or programs simultaneously, managing multiple stakeholders, assists management in conducting budget & / or headcount planning, business forecasting, capacity analysis, external benchmarking and departmental indicators.

Leads, trains and aligns with other BA's to collect, retrieve, analyze and interpret data trends and patterns to suggest actionable strategies aimed at continuous improvement i.

e. Good Catches Program and optimization wins on data gathering methodologies and articulating crisp action plans.

Responsibilities include :

  • Business Process Management (BPM) & Quality Champion, the BA needs to lead and collaborate with the Subject matter experts to complete solid A3 analysis and recommend systematic fixes.
  • As Workforce Planning Program Lead, responsibilities include :
  • Training of BA's
  • Capacity Modeler, Data Champion for key Projects Automation
  • Developing Predictive Analytics Framework
  • Identifying Fungibility and Efficiency Opportunities
  • Facilitates Pay & Benefits staff and Quality Leadership.
  • Assists other governance teams as needed.
  • Serves as Trusted Advisor to the CR Pay and Benefits Manager.
  • The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits :

  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for effective communications and collaboration.
  • Shared Services and / or Project Management experience with proven skills in driving / influencing change, with an innate passion and intellectual curiosity for researching ways to systemically fix problems and attack waste and inefficiencies at the source.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelors in Finance with statistical or mathematical emphasis, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, MBA degree or related field with minimum 5 years experience in :

  • Project Management
  • Data analytics Ex : Data Mining, Business Intelligence analyst, etc
  • Process Improvements, efficiencies and Innovation
  • Strong English language skills are a must
  • Automation, developing macros, statistical analyses and designing / delivering training
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Lean Six Sigma certifications
