IMDb TV is looking for a detail-oriented Production / Ops Manager that will manage production efforts for various products and business initiatives.

This position will focus on developing efficient workflow processes, partnering directly with IMDb TV Marketing and Creative staff.

The ideal candidate will combine their expertise in project management skills, with their passion for film and television, to help our team improve and optimize as we continue to grow the team and expand our capabilities.

In this cross-functional role, the Production / Ops Manager will collaborate, both onsite and overseas, with IMDb TV Marketing and Design to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, and meet deadlines, dividing your time between Campaign Managing / Trafficking (50%), Digital Asset Managing (35%), and Onsite Managing (15%).

A strong understanding of creative teams and processes will be crucial, and experience in a range of design mediums will be key.

This individual has an important role in helping to drive the acquisition and engagement of customers across the portfolio of IMDb TV marketing programs.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating and executing marketing campaigns as well as coordinating all studio asset activities from studio communications and acquisition to file naming, categorizing and archiving.

In addition, campaign management responsibilities include scheduling and executing assigned marketing campaigns for house advertisements and other acquisition and / or engagement marketing programs, while identifying opportunities to continuously improve our workflows and implement best practices across teams.

And finally, as our onsite Ops Manager, this candidate will be responsible for the overall safety and well-being of the team, understand policy escalations, monitor team impact, and help track and scale the team’s activities and equipment.

To succeed in this role, this candidate should seamlessly flex between managing a design and production team, balancing multiple projects, owning schedules, and trafficking deliverables.

This individual is a master planner and a flexible project manager who can balance multiple projects in a creative design environment, and can identify and solve for competing priorities.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, implementing processes and interfacing with internal teams and external stakeholders.

This role requires excellent program management capabilities, strategic thinking, problem solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently and autonomously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, while anticipating and making tradeoffs to balance business needs against creative constraints.
  • Develop and manage timelines, resources and budgets.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams, and communicate / collaborate effectively to achieve stated project goals.
  • Manage team resources and onsite services to attain quality, cost-effective work.
  • Create and manage asset creation reports, and communicate progress across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Keep informed of design and production technologies, tools, and best practices, digital publishing processes and practices, and resource sourcing options and costs;
  • ensure staff development and growth to keep pace.

  • Develop and maintain standards and procedures for executing design and production processes through all stages of product development, including file management and version control processes and procedures
  • Work effectively with stakeholder teams to define projects, secure estimates, negotiate resourcing, and obtain results to meet milestone dates.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively within division, departments, and cross-functional project teams and with manager to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Download creative materials from external and partner portals; send requests and creative approvals to and from studio partners when applicable.
  • Project manage and own the execution of IMDb TV house advertising campaigns and other promotions across devices and businesses.
  • Manage creative delivery and act as the gatekeeper of high quality creative.
  • Troubleshooting issues surfaced during the campaign life-cycle.
  • Own detailed inventory compliance, tagging all pieces of hardware and tracking all equipment
  • Background in Operations is a plus
  • Experience managing / leading a creative team
  • Knowledge in design / creative production.
  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with project management & reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager / producer in a creative agency or similar experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field experience.
  • Digital advertising experience and understanding of related ad specifications, file formats and technologies, and / or experience
  • High proficiency in English language
