National Instruments is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Web Product Integration department.
The Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing needs and working with partnering teams in the development of solutions enabling data-
driven decision making for various organizations within National Instruments. The systems analyst will execute the full Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) from project initiation through implementation and production support.

Gather, document, and communicate requirements effectively to ensure appropriate implementation of IT solutions
Develop effective problem statements and are outcome driven
Assist in cost / benefit analysis and process modeling
Perform as-is and to-be analysis
Negotiate project scope, schedule, and resource requirements
Compose effective cross-team and inter-departmental communications
Prepare user acceptance tests and perform functional, acceptance, and regression testing
Anticipate and mitigate project risk, document decisions, manage change
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Propose innovative operational changes including people, processes, and systems
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of projects and operations
Assist with management, prioritization, troubleshooting and escalation of issues
Analyze, understand, and document the flow of information between applications, databases, and third party (client / vendor) systems for data and reporting
Perform data profiling exercises for new and existing data areas
Create mockups and / or wireframes to assist the development team in creating user interfaces
3+ years of experience in Systems Analysis
3+ years of experience working with development teams
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred
Entry level skills in Project Management
Experience evaluating, analyzing, defining and communicating systems requirements
Experience with user acceptance tests
Good communication and ability to translate customer needs into concrete requirements
Experience with SQL language and databases is a plus
Agile experience is a plus
