About the role
The successful candidate will lead the CO Payroll team located in San José, Costa Rica. This position will report to the LATAM Payroll Manager.
He / she will have the opportunity to make a real difference. The role requires a candidate with ability to manage and improve the payroll operations (metrics, compliance, controllership ) as well as to manage global projects.
The candidate will interact with senior stakeholders worldwide.
The key component of the role is to pay our employees correctly and on time with the focus on process improvement, consistency and documentation.
We are looking for a strong leader with excellent communication skills. The role is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll manager who wants to make a difference within our company, who wants to raise the bar for the payroll team, be the spider in the web and set the team up for success.
Other areas of opportunities : international projects, Six Sigma (Greenbelt and Kaizen) and expansions. This is a high profile region within Amazon and requires a manager with the ability to improve our customer experience.
