JOB SUMMARY :

This position will support the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling human resources activities in each shift.

Provides on-site customer service, counseling and promotes a positive morale and reliable services to all our associates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

  • Assure Policy Deployment Procedure hourly and exempt Personnel by Training Department
  • Assure that any Communication is aligned to the Values and Culture of the Organization
  • BU's People KPI's administration
  • Coordinate and Manage Employee Activities
  • Manage Disciplinary procedure
  • Generate PCN - Personnel Change Notice
  • Internal promotions and transfers administration
  • Manage and coach attendance and absenteeism cases
  • Manage employee conflicts & claims
  • PCN Administration
  • Planning HR Audits
  • Promote a good work environment
  • Manage Recognition Programs
  • Training audit compliance requirements
  • Immediate recognition
  • Any other task assigned by direct leadership
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Five to seven years minimum experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment with knowledge and experience in the following :
  • Talent Acquisition Management
  • Employment Performance Management
  • Benefits and Compensation Administration
  • Labor Laws
  • Employee Relations
  • Experience in problem solving and decision making.
  • Proven leadership and planning skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral / written communication skills in both English and Spanish are a must.
  • Teamwork and service oriented.
  • Computer literate.
  • Willing to travel.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Needs to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; sit and reach with arms; lift and / or move up to 50 pounds; requires close vision.
  • Utilizes reading, writing, speaking skills, analytical capacity and judgement to solve problems.
  • Applies communications skills to perform work and speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Incumbent could be exposed to fumes of chemicals

    EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field is required.
