The challenge

In joining Adobe’s Americas Enterprise Sales Finance organization, you will have the opportunity to help drive Adobe’s strategy by partnering with the head of the Americas Strategic and Corporate Segments Sales team acting as their financial business partner and advisor.

The position will report to the Senior Director of Americas Enterprise to provide day-to-day financial operations and will ensure strategic annual objectives and financial targets are met in the largest market for Adobe.

It is an exciting time at Adobe as we continue to shift our desktop business to a subscription model! This position will provide you the perfect opportunity to learn and drive the growth of the subscription business in the largest revenue-generating sales organization at Adobe.

The successful candidate will be a well-rounded top performer with excellent data analysis and storytelling skills. This individual will be a key contributor in a growth environment who is interested in building a career in Finance.

Business partnering with senior leaders in the sales organization as well as networking with other teams across Adobe will also be essential to success in this role.

This leader should be able to perform deep dives into the underlying assumptions and quantitative details of all analyses, as well as make recommendations based on the insights you develop.

This individual should also be comfortable taking an assignment from scratch and driving it to completion.

What you’ll do

  • Work with Americas Strategic and Corporate Leaders to provide business insights and find opportunities to accelerate business growth.
  • Own Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Strategic and Corporate bookings and attrition / retention forecasting and reporting for America Strategic and Corporate Segments
  • Partner with Area VPs and extended finance teams to develop and drive deal structures to that align to our internal goals and accelerate revenue
  • Model and monitor all aspects of bookings and revenue drivers to ensure a high level of predictability
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess profitability and value of sales investments
  • Prepare presentations, weekly / quarterly status reports, perform detailed analysis and summarize for management key business conclusions on bookings, attrition / retention, ARR (annual recurring revenue), cannibalization, new market penetration, profitability, Return on Investment etc.
  • Play a major role in the annual strategic and operating, planning processes, quarterly business reviews, and perform ad-hoc analysis as the need arises for business insight.
  • Support all financial data requirements for the quarterly business review meeting
  • Be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals ensuring the team's goals, objectives and projects are met with quality, excellence and on time.

  • Proven data modeling / analytical skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, work toward results; team oriented
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 10+ Years FP&A experience (software industry and / or Sales Finance related a plus)
  • In depth knowledge / understanding of accounting and financial systems; SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1, and Tableau
