The challenge

We are seeking an internal communications leader who is passionate about improving employees’ engagement and effectiveness at Adobe.

Reporting to the Senior Director for Diversity & Inclusion and Experience Communications and leading a distributed team, you will shape and execute a wide variety of Employee Experience (aka human resources) communication initiatives to employees to all levels of the company.

What you’ll do

  • Building on the strong foundation already in place, shape the team’s mission, priorities, and engagement model across multiple partner functions including Employee Workplace Solutions, Total Rewards, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent.
  • Develop central messaging and development of complex communication plans, including tailoring to varied levels and geographies.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior executives across the Employee Experience organization to maximize the effectiveness of program adoption and change management.
  • Conceive and deliver innovative new communication programs and vehicles to maximize the impact of Adobe’s employee priorities.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals and agency resources, providing strategic direction, coaching and advocacy.
  • Measure and report on the results of communication campaigns and vehicles, taking a data-centric view to refine programs over time.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure alignment and maximize collective results.
  • Manage a quarterly budget, maximizing return on investment.
  • What you need to succeed

  • Strong communication program management skills, with expertise in building, managing and scaling complex programs that involve significant change management, high-profile outcomes and multiple organizational partners
  • Creative thinking and the ability to articulate a vision to partners across the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop strong professional relationships with peers, direct reports, executives and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to use good judgment to problem solve, make decisions and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate time
  • Proven people management skills with strong coaching orientation
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to effectively manage and collaborate with team members from global regions
  • Direct experience in supporting human resources-driven internal communications programs
  • Patience, resilience and a sense of humor when faced with challenging situations
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required
