The AtR Intercompany Senior Analyst will be responsible for executing Accounting to Reporting (AtR) activities such as Cash& Bank accounting, Payroll Accounting, Sales accounting, Intercompany accounting, Fixed Assets accounting, Month end closing operations and Period end adjustments, Journals / Accruals / Expenses, Audit, legal requirements and SoX documentation, Balance sheet reconciliation and open items follow up, etc.
The objective of this role is to maintain a high standard of performance, analysis and follow up of all activities on the market(s) assigned ensuring all entries into the ERP system are completed and accurate.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
Â· Execute AtR processes across all America's markets recording them into the ERP System ensuring compliance with all quality and control requirements
Â· Execute, review and approve GL transactional Accounting, clearing and follow-up of Balance Sheet GL accounts, such as banks, prepaid, accruals, intercompany, cost and inventory.
The MJE can be calculate or identify by the specialist or delivery by the other teams.
Â· Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls
Â· Certify Balance Sheet Account reconciliations and follow-up of open items
Â· Populate all manual trackers related to AtR processing
Â· Prepare documentation and reports for audit purpose
Â· Monthly reconcile GL with sub ledgers of IC Accounts Payable, Receivables
Â· Be accountable for the accuracy and support documentation of every manual journal entry
Â· Achieve required accuracy on all defined KPIs and SLA's
Â· Work closely with other team members to effectively manage workload and gain exposure to multiple finance and business disciplines.
Â· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Â· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company including demonstrated experience in dealing with US and ex-US
Â· Business Level fluency 90% (oral and written) in Spanish and English languages
Â· Experience in double entry accounting
Â· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required
Â· Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development
Â· Demonstrated experience in shared services and / or migrations projects (knowledge transfer, process documentation, project management, status reporting and stakeholder relationship management)
Â· Controllership / Internal controls knowledge SOX based
Â· ERP system experience and competency (SAP)
Â· Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Â· Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism
Â· Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Â· Advanced problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes
