Strategic Capacity Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing capacity strategy to support business and customer requirement by working with different stakeholders to identify optimal approach to support capacity issues with least spending / resources.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
Developing and validating models by apply mathematically based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization and or simulation models
Maximizing tool output through continuous improvements and influencing stakeholders
System development, maintenance and innovation
Effective communication to all levels of management
Embracing change and foster an approach of thinking out of the box
Behavioral traits will include :
Ability to deal with ambiguity and constant change
Ability to multitask and problem solve with minimal direction / guidance
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications :
BS / MS in Industrial Engineering or related field. With at least 5+ years experience in capacity planning
Knowledge and working experience with manufacturing operations, flows, equipment, facilities and a solid understanding of the factory capacity / capital systems, especially in semiconductor manufacturing.
Have knowledge on Finance systems (Capital, Expense, Plan / POR cycle)
Has experience and knowledge with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python or SQL.
Advance English level
Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
