Job summary :

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Inventory and Logistics Manager to our Manufacturing Plant located in Alajuela (Saret Industrial Park).

The position reports directly to the Site Supply Chain Manager. Inventory and Logistics Manager role involves working on implementation of strategies and processes, to ensure the inventory and logistics function achieves its operational and organizational targets to create and sustain value for the business and its customers.

What a typical day looks like :

  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
  • Develop requirements and standards
  • Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
  • Evaluate vendor operations according to quality standards
  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
  • Oversee inventory procedures
  • Tracks and develop inventory projections and drive initiatives for improvement
  • Works as a liaison with other company departments on improvement projects
  • The experience we’re looking to add to our team :

  • Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Professional
  • BA / BS or equivalent work experience
  • Experience on Inventory, Logistics or Supply Chain field in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in managing warehouse personnel and logistics operators
  • Inventory management & forecasting strategies experience
  • Free Zone, and Import & Export processes knowledge
  • Fluent English (as a must)
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certified is a plus
  • APICS CPIM / CSCP is a plus
  • MBA or MSCM will be also considered a plus
