Job Role and Responsibilities :

This individual will balance a mix of planning, and execution responsibilities in support of the Cloud Sales Execution team.

This individual will manage projects and contribute to the success of critical initiatives to drive execution across the organization and all supporting functions.

These projects and initiatives will directly influence and drive key financial results and outcomes for the Cloud Sales organization.

The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of project management, business acumen, sales operations experience, cloud solution knowledge, big-picture thinking, and influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support Cloud Transformation Projects and Initiatives
  • Tracking of projects as they advance through the project approval process, updating the weekly reporting tools, and assisting in the tracking of internal resources needed to complete projects to ensure smooth execution
  • Facilitate and attend routine project check-in meetings
  • Contribute to and own project deliverables as needed to support project and sales acceleration teams
  • Collect and communicate best practices to improve future execution
  • Build an internal network to support project initiatives
  • Project management support for other strategic projects or initiatives related to Cloud Transformation
  • Ability and willingness to connect the dots across programs, projects, teams
  • Experience and Qualifications :

    The successful program management candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess excellent relationship-building skills.

    The preferred candidate will possess an understanding of VMware and Cloud Solutions.

    Additionally, the successful candidate should possess the below strengths & skillsets :

  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience defining KPIs and measurement
  • Self-Starter with ability to balance a variety of tasks
  • Strong sense of self and can relate well to works; learns quickly and can adapt to changes in timeframes, people and situations with ease;
  • remains calm under pressure

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  • Ability to think creatively, take ownership of tasks, and adapt to changing business requirements while remaining detail oriented
  • Ability working with cross-functional teams
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong social skills, including good communication with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a precise and concise manner in both written and verbal form
  • PM Certification a plus
