Your role as a Direct Access Web and content consultant is to provide our growing count of 30K+VMWare employees, 4+ People managers, and other customers with Direct Access solutions to the Human Resources content they need in order to do their jobs and manage their lives.
You can be successful in this role by executing against the Direct Access vision and strategy and through a combination of stakeholder engagement, project management and website management as you work towards our North Star! Job Role and Responsibility :
Web and Content :
HR Web and Content Expert-Manage HR COEs and make timely HR and Manager web updates to intranet and external pages based on incoming tickets / requests, to ensure our content and all corresponding content types (videos, articles, pages, documents and calendar events) is fresh and accurate, using content management frameworks and solutions such as Drupal and Wordpress
Manage stakeholder groups at different seniority levels and in different regions, COEs / Functions to address and drive their content strategy forward
Collaborate with a Direct Access Technical Partner in a two in a box model, focussed on enhancing HR COE Web and Content requirements
Personify HR content requirements through supporting Imagery / visuals and design elements in compliance with VMW Brand guidelines
Consult with HR subject matter experts in different regions (AMER, EMEA and APAC) to ensure that we are providing employees and managers with content that is easy to find, relevant and easy to consume
Manage and build reports, scorecards and analytics on Direct access content for different stakeholder groups
Audit existing content for quality and partner with COE Champions and content owner to drive continuous web and content improvements
Document existing Web & Content solutions and processes for HR with a view to simplify current processes
Project Management :
Manage projects to improve our web and content solutions, in partnership with the rest of HR, Comms, IT and other independently run programs such as VMWare Foundation or Inclusion.
Influence and partner with HR COEs, HR PMO, Digital Comms, IT and other key related stakeholders to drive HR Web & Content requirements needed for Projects
Manage cross-functional projects that enable direct access’s content strategyMaintain project collaboration project sites.
Create and distribute multi-level communication and status reports (core team, extended team, executive team)Create, and manage a project status, budget (if applicable), decision tracker, stakeholder assessment, change impacts, and problem managementManage program risks and escalations, solve problems
Change Management-Manage and lead change engagements with various stakeholder groups in HR to drive Business continuity and manage change for new Web and content solutions, proactively

Required skills :
Bachelors / Masters and relevant progressive work experience, spanning across 5-7 years.
Must have Prior web management and content experience in HR, through Web development and html, preferably in a Drupal and / or WordPress Landscape
Must have- Advanced Adobe Photoshop / Other Design tool skills along with an understanding of User Experience principles and design thinking
Must have- Solid HR Business acumen, and ability to select the best web and content solution for each business problem
Must have-Strong written and spoken English skills and able to build cultural relationships across different GEOs
Preferred skills :
Good to have -Experience leading cross functional projects / programs in parallel, while being able to tackle a project end to end as a Project Manager and work through the dependencies on other teams with informal authority
Good to have -Experience collaborating and partnering across different functions in an organisation such as but not limited to IT and Digital Comms working successfully with technical partners (IT and / or development)
Good to have-Experience with Workday and other HRIS / HCM solutions
Good to have Advanced PowerPoint and excel skills
