The Strategy, Planning, Portfolio and Program Management Team provides Program Management leadership and portfolio delivery for key business transformation projects within our global Information Data Services (IDS) organization.

In the role of a principal program manager you will design, develop and lead program management activities for a specific project or program from definition and planning to execution and launch.
Serve as a key driver and glue across internal IDS teams as well as external x-functional partners.
What you'll Do
Improve business value delivery through thoughtful planning, as well as predictable and consistent program execution
Own project roadmap, drive scope / timeline discussion, track, identify, & resolve program interdependencies, risks / issues, landmarks, and program artifacts across various project tracks to ensure successful project implementation and rollout.
Prepare and maintain program dashboards, status reports on work within scrum team, Steering Committee / Executive briefings, SLC (Service Life Cycle) check point artifacts along with all program level communications
Drive strategic and tactical decisions for your program
Identify and solve broad complex issues
Establish success metrics and regularly evaluate and adjust execution strategy to achieve the success measures
Lead cross-team collaboration through influence
Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitive skills and drive data-based decision making
Craft well thought out proposals / recommendations that specify a clear course of action
Create streamlined content tailored to the audience and present up, down, and across the management stack
What you need to succeed
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
6-10 years of experience in program or product management
Experience handling multi-discipline teams consisting of business and technical resources
Experience using various project delivery methodologies (Agile / Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid) and tailoring the approach for program success
Ability to propel towards clarity from ambiguity
Be a change agent! Identifying and implementing ways to improve processes and remove bottlenecks to systemically improve how we deliver value to our customers
Solid ability to operate effectively and autonomously in time-sensitive situations and handle ambiguity
A strong bias towards data-driven decision making
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences
Influencing and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships and build credibility / trust with team members and Senior Leadership
Experience and knowledge of Data and Analytics space, tools / platforms is a strong plus
