As a Reporting Manager you will be providing support to the Renewals Organization by building business critical reports to help make business decisions, provide root cause analysis based on data and analytical inputs, while working with IT to design scalable reporting solutions that will help the business get to the next level.
Reporting Manager is an individual contributor Position.
Collaborate with different leaders in the Sales Ops Organization to build necessary reports that help manage, control and do decision making
Support and drive key elements of the annual planning process for Renewal, including long-range planning, annual planning, commissions, and others.
Support quarterly business reporting and analytics to VMware Executive Staff, PCS leadership, Finance, and Investor Relations
Support strategic investment initiatives, such as merge and acquisitions and partnering, with evaluations and business plans
Perform analysis and develop new processes / tools in support of SBU functional teams such as Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Partnering, and Sales Enablement
Support Business Review meetings like; quarterly reviews or other business reviews
Resolution of customer requests related to data analysis and reporting
Extract and analyze data from Vmware tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL, SAP BOBJ, SFDC and others.
Development of new or existing reports to address customer requirements or internal business issues
Documentation of process steps associated with report management
Utilize existing documentation, websites, and Vmware tools to address data and reporting request
Work on improving different business processes, using six sigma approach and continue process improvement mentality.
Work with internal IT Teams to enhance existent reporting capabilities
Over +7 years of experience with business operations, reporting or finance
Experience with technology, enterprise software, services, or SaaS business ideal model
Excellent analytical and modeling skills with the ability to create business insights from data bases such as excel, tableau, SFDC, SAP BOBJ, SQL, etc.
Strong communication skills including articulate written and verbal communication
Proven experience building and improving operations and processes
Self-starter, accountable and strong attention to detail
Highly organized and comfortable with multi-tasking
Collaborative with the ability to influence without authority and to work well across various BUs and functional areas within Vmware
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Visio
Candidate should be proficient in at least 2 of the following technologies, Microsoft SQL, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), Tableau or Reports for SFDC
