Job Description

What does a phenomenal Systems Support, Professional do? You will use your knowledge, technical skills and established procedures to perform routine application and system administration tasks and to troubleshoot and resolve common problems for clients using Fiserv’s online and mobile banking solutions.

For clients with solutions hosted by Fiserv, the team also shares responsibility for system operations with Fiserv’s data center engineering and operations group.

You as a Systems Support, Professional will work in a 4 x 10 scheduled shift responding to cases, requests, incidents and critical items as needed for internal and external clients, designed to provide Fiserv clients with 24x7 application operations and support coverage.

The shifts are the following :

  • Shift 1 : Sunday for Wednesday to 6 am to 5 pm
  • Shift 2 : Wednesday to Saturday 6 am to 5 pm
  • Essential Job Responsibilities :

  • Ensure high severity incident and all other communication with clients is handled as per process by the team and take necessary action as required to correct any non-compliance.
  • Respond to, investigate and resolve issues involving production applications and services using documented procedures and solutions.
  • Escalate and / or engage other support groups as needed to meet service targets for resolution quality and timeliness.
  • Accurately and concisely document production support issues for subsequent root cause, operational, and management analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to knowledge management system by writing articles as required.
  • Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • High School diploma, and currently enrolled at one year in a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar career would be preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role in application support
  • Experience working with SQL querying and reading and interpreting log files
  • Basic understanding of networking, IPConfig, tracerute, etc
  • Advanced English Level (B2)
  • Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education :

  • Knowledge / experience in at least 1 programming language : Powershell / VBScript / JSON, etc
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Service (AWS) or another cloud software
  • Previous use of SPLUNK , Extrahop, ServiceNow, ScrumMaster or Project management skills, Lean Six Sigma
