This role is crucial in working cross functionally with Product, Design, Research, Marketing and other partners to understand user and market insights, develop clear value prop & comms to guide the customer journey, and drive adoption of eBay advertising products.
Successful candidates will have experience understanding competitive landscapes and emerging trends, analyzing product roadmaps, crafting market tests, and developing marketing plans to drive customer adoption and engagement.
The ideal candidate is customer-minded, data driven, naturally curious, and has the ability to work across functions.
Key Responsibilities :
Work closely with Product to develop experiences and messaging to acquire, engage, and retain sellers throughout the eBay seller journey.
Managing user research efforts, using quantitative and qualitative analysis problem-solving skills to synthesize results and share findings across the organization.
Driving seller VOC and feedback loop, identifying themes, synthesizing findings, and socializing with leadership and cross-functional partners to improve seller experience.
Driving go-to-market planning, including functional and regional launch coordination.
Supervise and communicate progress on plans, roadblocks and mitigation approaches.
Strong follow through from planning, to successful delivery, to look-backs and reporting.
Capture and synthesize results, takeaways and standard methodology to enable continuous improvement in GTM plans and outcomes.
Have a global mentality, and be mindful of our international audience.
MBA or equivalent experience required
8+ years in go-to-market, product marketing, marketing, product management, design or research
Data driven and results oriented
Experience handling global market rollouts
Effective communicator who can passionately articulate the vision and encourage collaboration.
Ability to wear different hats and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time critical environment.
Skilled at navigating large global organizations and working cross-functionally to ensure team consensus.
Strong structured problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Advocate for quality, bringing an eye for detail
Ability to manage through ambiguity. Works well under pressure, has a can do demeanor
