The Opportunity
The Strategic Business Relationship Manager (SBRM) is responsible for the quality, health, growth and strategy of the company’s relationships with our vendors by ensuring that we understand all the ways Adobe is using, and can use, their services, while understanding their objectives and how they are engaging with Adobe on all fronts.
Success is measured in vendor satisfaction, savings and internal customer satisfaction. To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work with sales, vendor management, engineering and procurement teams and communicate and present to executives.
You also need to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
What you'll Do
The Strategic Business Relationship Manager (SBRM) is responsible for the quality, health, growth and strategy of the company’s relationships with our vendors by ensuring that we understand all the ways Adobe is using, and can use, their services, while understanding their objectives and how they are engaging with Adobe on all fronts.
This role will bring together all of the different workflows and provide a strategic, wholistic view of the vendor relationship and all of their key touchpoints inside the business, along with the best way to apply their service offerings.
They will provide leadership to all internal delivery teams by communicating the overall objectives and strategies for the vendor and outlining clear initiatives and timeframes to achieve them.
By working collaboratively across Vendor Mgmt, Infrastructure Asset Mgmt, Engineering, Procurement and Sales teams, the SBRM will ensure appropriate direction is provided that will lead to successful negotiations and a strong relationship with our vendors.
Maintain knowledge of the vendor’s new service offering and touch points into Adobe and help develop strategies for how to continually apply them to evolve and improve the quality of the relationship with the vendor.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.
Colorado Starting Salary : $124,700 - $162,000
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
