About the Role :
Leading a high performing, Accounts Payable team within Global Business Services (GBS) providing one or more business services to Boston Scientific.
Ensures consistency with global processes and maximizes operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities Include :
Lead and performs all aspects of the Accounts Payable function in the day to day assigned team activities
Planning and organizing the AP process flow assigned to ensure payment obligations are met in accordance with Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
Oversees Accounts Payable assigned team, including work assignments, training, training documentation, workload evaluation, daily processing, and special projects.
Timely and clear communication to internal and external customers.
Assist with gathering and reporting of department metrics audits requirements and KPI's.
Actively encourage and participate in both system and process improvements.
Be instrumental in the regular update and roll out of SOP's.
Comply with ALL company policies and procedures including company values to success.
Monitors performance of direct reports in regular basis.
Participate in the execution of departmental and organizational projects, including but not limited to analysis, data maintenance, testing, training and post go live support.
Lead monthly audits of Accounts Payable transactions across all applicable systems to ensure data accuracy and SOX compliance
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Investigate and resolve issues associated with invoice processing and root causes.
What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Related Field.
English Level desired : B2+ : (80% - 89%).
Desired knowledge : SAP, APICS Certification, Inventory, Microsoft Office.
At least 2 years of experience in similar position.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of related experience, specifically in an Accounts
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to communicate and engage well with internal and external customers.
Quick learner with strong business acumen, drive for results, and technical affinity.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with a high regard for urgency and accuracy.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Financial tools (SAP) preferred.
Results oriented, excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
Strong and clear communication and collaboration skills.
Strong interpersonal skills as it's a team player position.
Customer service orientation.
Comfortable with frequent change and ambiguity in a matrix organization.
Analytical decision making; problem solving.
Ability to deliver against targets and objectives.
English Level desired B1+ (70%).
Additional languages knowledge is a plus. (Portuguese-French-German).
Know how to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team and with all levels of employees, management and vendors.
Competence to develop an environment that fosters teamwork, positive energy and efficiency according company principles.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
