We support event escalations, service requests and changes on the network devices and 3rd party service providers to support the Help Desk services and critical tasks.
Seeking for Network Response Center(NRC) Support Engineers : Tier 1 & Tier 2 to support the IT team based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Shifts available for these positions are from Monday Friday 6 : 00AM to 3 : 00PM / 3 : 00PM to 12 : 00AM / 12 : 00 AM to 6 : 00AM.
Weekends : WFH on call or on site for emergencies.
Location : San Pedro, San Jose, Costa Rica
Job Description :
The NRC Support Engineer evaluates, documents, triages, tests, and performs event isolation and resolution. Monitors and troubleshoots and maintains a range of computer network components and systems (e.
g., routers, firewalls, and proxy servers). Performs these functions across some, but not all, physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, and network management components.
gages network performance; and traces data and protocol activity. Provides front-line technical support for issues received from phone calls, emails, and automated tickets from monitoring tool.
Tracks reported issues through to resolution. Accurately and quickly triages and escalates incidents to the appropriate group (e.
g., Service providers, Tier 2, and Tier 3). Adapts to various types of situations, clients and tools.
