CRG is providing call center support 24x7x365 for one of the world’s leading fashion, footwear and apparel holding groups.

We support event escalations, service requests and changes on the network devices and 3rd party service providers to support the Help Desk services and critical tasks.

Seeking for Network Response Center(NRC) Support Engineers : Tier 1 & Tier 2 to support the IT team based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Shifts available for these positions are from Monday Friday 6 : 00AM to 3 : 00PM / 3 : 00PM to 12 : 00AM / 12 : 00 AM to 6 : 00AM.

Weekends : WFH on call or on site for emergencies.

Location : San Pedro, San Jose, Costa Rica

Job Description :

The NRC Support Engineer evaluates, documents, triages, tests, and performs event isolation and resolution. Monitors and troubleshoots and maintains a range of computer network components and systems (e.

g., routers, firewalls, and proxy servers). Performs these functions across some, but not all, physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, and network management components.

  • Uses monitoring, performance analysis, network management, and software and hardware equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems;
  • gages network performance; and traces data and protocol activity. Provides front-line technical support for issues received from phone calls, emails, and automated tickets from monitoring tool.

    Tracks reported issues through to resolution. Accurately and quickly triages and escalates incidents to the appropriate group (e.

    g., Service providers, Tier 2, and Tier 3). Adapts to various types of situations, clients and tools.

    Requirements :

  • Bachelor Degree in a technology field desirable but not required
  • 1+ years of experience in the IT network field
  • Experience or knowledge on circuits provided by the ISP such as Internet, WAN (MPLS / PPP, VPLS) required
  • Experience or knowledge on edge equipment managed by ISP (Verizon, Vodafone, or any other local provider) desirable.
  • CCNA 4 modules required
  • CCNA R&S certification desired but not required
  • ITIL foundations training preferred
  • NOC experience preferred
  • Passport & USA Visa up to date.
  • Able to travel for short or long periods of time
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
