Job Description and Responsibilities

Job Description

The role is responsible for supporting the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in client (external and internal) engagements to ensure business plans are implemented, and goals are met.

This is a true opportunity to help bridge the gap between data, insights, and action by conducting research, interpretation and providing actual business recommendations.

Specific responsibilities include :

  • Drive and execute VCA strategy for the region, proactively capitalizing on local opportunities, ensuring the alignment with the country strategy
  • Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities with clients
  • Develop methodologies, frameworks and approaches to evaluate Client’s digital status, envision priority transformational state and design implementation roadmaps
  • Provide guidance to Visa clients (issuers, acquirers, fintechs and merchants) on digital best practices for cards portfolios, including key aspects of the digital transformation agenda organizational structure, technologies, data management and recommended third party resources
  • Leverage existing technologies and providers to enhance and optimize client’s operations and processes
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
  • Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the payment P&L
  • Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated, analytic individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and solving by always having a Digital mindset first.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required (Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics)

    Master’s degree preferred

    Significant experience (+7yr plus) in corporate or consulting roles managing projects related to digital transformation in banking digital acquisition, digital products, CX experience, digital platforms, etc.

    Exceptional digital acumen and the ability to discuss digital strategy at the CMO & CEO level, as well as project planning and execution at the Manager level

    Great interpersonal skills - team player.

    Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with latest market and industry innovation trends.

    Demonstrated ability to lead digital strategy projects (with a deep understanding of the technology, strategy and team resources)

    Broad program management experience working directly with Scrum Teams in an Agile environment preferred

    Excellent communications skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.

    Ability to work independently.

    Experience working with data and analytical tools

    Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.

    This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
