Sr. Sales Operations, Business Intelligence Analyst
This role will participate in and support one of the Americas Partner Organization, by providing day to day operational support to the Channel Sales Operations Team and Sales Leaders.
Responsible for business intelligence / analytics and ad hoc reporting in addition to productivity, forecasting and funnel analysis while working closely with the overall Channel Sales Operations Team and Channel VP and Management Team.
Reporting & Analysis
Design, continuous improvement, documentation and support of weekly / quarterly reporting across multiple platforms.
Drive performance measurement and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
Query and transform data on the go to address and expand upon ad-hoc requests.
Partner with business leaders and guide them through data to achieve business goals.
Collaborate with management on baseline and forecast data consolidation and analysis.
Build quarterly business review decks in cooperation with the team and / or customer.
Planning and Strategy
Lead / collaborate in sales planning : Calculation of targets / quotas, headcount mapping, account assignment, etc.
Act as SME and point of contact for programs and initiatives spanning Sales Operations.
Act as liaison with extended teams. Optimize and funnel their outputs for internal consumption.
Execute : Ability to work as part of a team without compromising impact, quality or efficiency.
Build Trust : Build and nurture relationships with the team, internal customers and business partners.
Core Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in Sales, Business or Finance operations preferably in IT industry.
1-2 years of experience in direct partnership with managers, directors and / or VPs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
Attention to detail and superior, self-driven analytical skills.
Strength in researching, self-development and team work to cover knowledge gaps.
Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills : Organize ideas and actions, set expectations, host meetings and follow-up to completion.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) : Ability to understand and succinctly explaining complex business issues and business impacts.
Advanced MS Excel skills : Used to pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas, conditional formatting importing / exporting data.
Experience in Tableau : Ability to design visualizations and make use of calculated fields / parameters.
Experience in SQL : Ability to reverse-engineer and design databases.
Value adding skills :
Experience in Salesforce.com able to build reports and pull data from SFDC.
Experience in SAP Hanna : Able to build reports and pull data from SAP.
Experience in MS Access : Able to build basic databases.
Experience in basic VBA for Excel and Access.
