The System Quality and Reliability (QNR) team owns the development and execution of stress test procedures supporting product release qualification (PRQ) on products spanning across Intel market segments.
Responsibilities for this role will include test content creation and validation across the aforementioned segments.
The role will be responsible for :
Creating and modifying test content to expand upon feature and component coverage of Intel products.
Creating and modifying Test Chip content for specific IPs.
Analyzing and tuning of workloads to characterize their effectiveness within system level stress experiments.
Working with product owners to establish Best Known Configurations (BKC) and test content plans during pre-silicon time frame.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced English skills
Experience Programming in one or more high-level (Python, Perl, C#, Java) and low-level language (x86 64 Assembly, C, C++) programming language.
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
Experience working with various Operating Systems used in platform validation including Windows, RedHat, SVOS, and Yocto Linux.
Experience running and analyzing results from commercial benchmarks.
Experience in electrical validation, signal measuring and measuring equipment (Oscilloscope, Signal Analyzer, etc).
Preferred Qualifications :
Understanding of System Level Debug stemming from thorough understanding of platform hardware, firmware and software.
Understanding of a structured query language (MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Strong fundamental understanding of Computer Architecture and modern CPU components.
