TE Connectivity's Manufacturing / Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow.
They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities : o Provide motivational leadership for department staff and develop the necessary skills of their leaders in charge.
o Delegate and give continuity to related activities in the designated area.o Evaluate the work performance of the employees and the discipline and accompaniment, as necessary in the shift in charge.
o Monitor and adequately respond to goals in order to meet planned production targets.o Support corporate goals to continually improve manufacturing staff capabilities and morale.
o Root cause analysis for troubleshootingo Knowledge and application of 5S.o Apply analysis and strategy to meet company goalso All other duties as assigned.
o Ensure direct production indicators such as productivity, efficiencies, STR and absenteeism.o Coordinate the work team such as quality, process and planning engineering.
It must be the person who makes the synergy between the departments.o Lead the Tier 2 and Tier 3 meetings, be responsible for presenting the indicators to management.
o Escalate quality, maintenance and stability problems of different work areas. Follow the standard escalation process for machines and Yield.
Supervision : Responsible for ensuring the work team of a specific shift, must coordinate or escalate tasks such as quality problems, machinery instability, production line balances and personnel in charge.
Must be the leader of the "Value Stream" giving process direction, daily priorities and major escalations to management groups.
He must supervise the team of production leaders of his work shift, he is in charge of leading the communication between the shifts and creating synergy between the teams of other areas.
Among his duties, he must be the owner of the production process, coordinating transfer approvals, NPI's and validations in the process.
Education and Experience : o Graduated as an Industrial Engineer or related career (applies for positions from fiscal period 2018)o Minimum two years of experience in Supervisory positions.
o If you do not have an academic degree, at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing in similar positions. (Applies to personnel hired between 2008 and 2017).
You must have a university degree.o Have experience in Leam manufacturing or problem solving processes.o Experience in personnel management and problem solving at the HR level.
Qualifications : o Proven understanding and mastery of a variety of technical manufacturing processes.o Computer knowledge, including Excel and Word.
o Preferably with advanced knowledge of Englisho Ability to work under pressure, be organized and able to communicate effectively.
o Demonstrate excellent leadership and teamwork, judgment and decision makingo Initiative, creativity and focus towards the challenges and opportunities that arise.
