Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our San José, Costa Rica office as part of our managed infrastructure services (MIS) team, an entity within McKinsey's worldwide IT organization, that manages IT support services to primarily McKinsey firm membersMIS team is responsible for managing the firm’s entire global IT infrastructure and applications.
Operational IT services are provided out of Gurgaon (India) and San José (Costa Rica). Furthermore, there are operational engineering teams located in Gurgaon (India), Prague (Czech Republic) and Düsseldorf (Germany).

You’ll work with technolgy & digital leaders, McKinsey business sponsors & stakeholders to help teams to deliver breakthrough digital products, IT services and continuous process improvement.

What You'll Do
You will serve as team lead to operations staff providing functional and technical support for McKinsey’s IT infrastructure systems.
In this role, you will be in charge of the operational management of IT infrastructure support processes, including incident, problem and change management, communication with internal customers and team staffing.
You will collaborate with MIS leadership on overall IT infrastructure service level management, identification and resolution of communication and process breakdowns and the continuous quality improvement of support services.
Your work will expand into Cloud technologies, interactive visualizations and automation efforts. You will support internal customers who are members of the IT support entities in development, QA and production environments.
Lastly, you'll identify and escalate technical barriers, dependencies or risks in the planning and development process, and maintain a distinct value and quality mindset.
You will manage your day to day priorities, time and commitments within your team setting while ensuring that technical standards and best practices are exercised.
