Adobe is looking for an experienced legal counsel to join the global Employment Legal Team reporting to the Director, Americas Employment Law to support the company’s growing Americas region.
This role will provide employment legal support in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, partnering closely with Adobe’s Employee Experience organization and other teams across the legal department.
What you'll do :
Be an active and energetic member of the Global Employment Legal Team, based in Adobe’s San Jose office, supporting Adobe’s Employee Experience teams in the U.
S., Canada and Latin America;
Provide solutions-focused, risk-based legal guidance and support on all aspects of employment law, including complex employee relations matters and investigations, diversity & inclusion initiatives, harassment prevention strategies, wage and hour, leave of absence, accommodations, contingent workforce , and employment policies;
Actively collaborate with other members of the team on global projects and issues; and
When needed, oversee employment claims and litigation matters.
What you need to succeed :
An active license to practice law in the US (California bar preferred) and 5-8 years of deep employment law experience at a reputable law firm and / or in-house at a multi-national company supporting matters in California and across the US
Excellent judgment, strong communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and functions.
Organization and the ability to effectively balance a large number and wide variety of issues and projects
A self-starter who can operate independently in a fast-paced global environment.
An approachable, easy going and flexible manner with a sense of humor
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company on projects and initiatives to improve processes and increase scalability
