We’re seeking an Associate Collector, based in our SantaAna, Costa Rica office . The Associate Collector is responsible of thecollections process.

Able to work under direct supervision, contacts customersto determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment byplacing outbound calls which are basic and routine.

Uses computerized systemfor tracking, information gathering, and / or troubleshooting. May answerinquiries and resolve problems.

Requires limited knowledge of the organization,products, and / or services. May respond to customer inquiries by referring themto published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.

Requiresability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevantapplications.

What you will need to succeed(required) :

  • High School diploma
  • Fully bilingual English / Spanish. B2
  • Customer service experience
  • Confidence in making instinctual andlogical decisions with little or no supervision
  • Ability to handle several high-risk tasks atthe same time (Multi-tasking).
  • Online payments and banking experiencepreferred
  • Debt collection and negotiation skills highlypreferred
  • Be self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to be proactive and independent withthe ability to focus on the task at hand
  • Strong written,verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications,primarily Excel and Word
  • Schedule flexibility
