Position summary :

The Manager, IT Reporting & Measurement is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of all operational reporting and measurement initiatives serving internal IT customers.

This role will contribute direct input towards the technical requirements, design / architecture, and implementation methodologies required to deliver solutions in accordance with enterprise strategies, while ultimately driving quality deliverables that satisfy operational needs.

This role will partner closely with various cross-functional IT stakeholders to drive operational excellence and enterprise growth strategies through data driven outcomes.

Essential duties & responsibilities : (detailed description)

  • Engage with IT stakeholders across IT Leadership, Governance, Global Application Services, Infrastructure & Operations, Service Delivery, and Business Partnership to define technical strategies to deliver in-scope reporting solutions
  • Manage requirement definition, delivery estimation and planning associated with the demand intake process for reporting requests
  • Define and execute technical design strategies for delivering reporting & measurement solutions that scale, with focus on information architecture, data governance and tool / system selection
  • Manage all phases and methodologies associated with the lifecycle for solution delivery including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and training;
  • maintain inputs and status associated with project planning

  • Perform various roles to help maintain and sustain in-use solutions as needed including data quality monitoring, technical performance, user access management, technical upgrades & maintenance, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with a team of technical leads, shared service resources, and contractors in support of executing reporting and measurement solutions, including data access and integration requests
  • Identify and evangelize process and technology improvement opportunities across the domain that deliver cost savings / avoidance opportunity, support enterprise data & reporting strategies, and improve user experiences
  • Deliver performance metrics to the IT organization at various levels, including Strategic (ITLT), tactical (Directors) and operational (Service Leads) leveraging any automated and / or manual means as needed
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on trends that yield continuous improvement opportunities; lead periodic strategic and functional reviews that highlight opportunity areas
  • Contribute towards the development and delivery of training / communication materials associated with reporting and measurement processes and solutions
  • Manage key data lifecycle processes, including receipt, audit, historical data management / archiving and master data quality management.
  • Education & special trainings :

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance or General Business (or equivalent) required; MBA / master’s degree a plus

    Qualifications & experience :

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a reporting delivery, solution architecture, or IT strategy / governance capacity
  • Proven experience in managing reporting solutions including technical data architecture, enterprise platform management, product / SDLC management
  • Experience with PowerBI, ServiceNow, Azure / Cloud environments, SAP / Coupa, Oracle mandatory
  • Experience of leading cross-functional teams including setting direction, developing talent, and delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and / or other information management systems required
  • Extensive knowledge of IT Governance, Service Management, Portfolio Management, and Enterprise Architecture subject matter required
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills required
  • Ability to multi-task with frequently changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills required
