Lendlease's San Francisco Bay Area Construction Office delivers large, complex commercial projects. This role is planned to first work on an ambitious design-build multi-tower affordable housing project using an innovative mass timber frame with a traditional lateral system.
The building is being designed to achieve LEED Platinum and will introduce a number of novel prefabricated technologies JOB SUMMARY : The Project Executive leads all aspects of the construction process for the project or projects, while serving as the main representative to the client.
They direct activities of the project team to safely complete the work on time, within the budget, and to the quality specified.

It is not an exhausted list of all that may be required. Plan and ensure projects are set up with the necessary resources budgeted, scheduled, and implemented with the project end sight’ is in mind through all stages of the project from conception to finalization.

Leverages Lendlease capabilities to provide a differentiated service. Identifies and pursues revenue generating opportunities for Lendlease.
Regularly monitor project performance, including conducting formal project reviews, to achieve project goals and maximize outcomes.
Manage and inspire the performance of direct reports. Continually lead the conversation to design development plans for team members and see them successfully achieved.
Maintain ongoing communications and resolve challenges to foster effective relationships with the client / owner, architect, key vendors, contractors, and project teams.
Recognizes the value of diversity and encourages an inclusive environment to inspire innovation. Possess a complete understanding of the terms and procedures of the project's contract.
Ensure all subcontracts are being managed within contractual terms. Leverage direct reports and resources to achieve contractual compliance.
Understands the importance of timely and accurate project and business reporting. Takes personal accountability that all documentation required by Lendlease, stakeholders and the project team is available and correct.
Drive the implementation of project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy and meeting customer imperatives.
Engages in difficult conversations or complex negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Continuously identify and cultivate project leads, working with the Business Development Director and other senior leaders to pursue and win work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Possess the knowledge and skills equivalent to what would be obtained in 15 to 20 years of industry experience running large projects for a General Contractor, including client management, risk mitigation, budgeting, procurement, contractor management, scheduling, and closeout.
Well experienced in delivering large commercial construction GMP projects, with Design-Build experience preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a successful track record of developing / mentoring Project Managers and junior staff.
Four-year Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. An advanced degree is a plus.
