In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.

You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverable for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Qualifications Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in any career stream
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies
  • Preferred

  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
  • Hands on Experience on any Compute solutions such as VMWARE Suite version 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 and later
  • Hands on Experience on Esxi Administration and compute administration activity covering setup of monitoring and alerts.
  • Hands on Experience in Compute Administration activities including Zoning, Compute adapter configuration, Compute switch configuration, Host configuration across windows / Linux systems
  • Compute capacity planning and Lifecycle management
  • Awareness on Compute clustering / vMotion and Storage V motion / DRS / Fault Tolerance / Convertor and VShpear Client / HA configurations /
  • Awareness on Backup solution such as Networker, NetBackup, VEEAM
  • Awareness on ITIL Process and working knowledge on ITSM processes such as Incident Management and Change Management process and Service now.
  • Exposure Power PI will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Virtualization platform such as Hyper V, vSphere, KVM etc.
  • Responsible for availability of 24*7*365 Compute environment as per SLA and OLA guidelines
  • Responsible for Ticket handling, Compute lifecycle and overall operations tasks
  • Perform daily Compute provisioning configuration changes.
  • Perform zoning configuration changes and allocate Compute to specific servers / applications
  • Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and other needs assessments as requested by partner teams
  • Participate and / or lead in the planning, approval, and implementation of Change Management requests.
  • Troubleshoot / diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • Assist with detailed technical planning for future initiatives and / or growth.
  • Design, document and build infrastructure components related to compute solution requirements from application, systems and database teams.
  • Perform on-going optimization of the systems to ensure adequate capacity, availability and scalability.
  • On-Call in a 24x7x365 environment. The Compute Engineer would be involved with daily Compute operational tasks such as provisioning, Compute connectivity, Compute allocation, incident problem management and the implementation of changes to the Compute operational infrastructure.
  • May interface with clients and company internal users on related problem resolutions.

    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

    Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
