What you will have an opportunity to do :
Extract and wrangle data from development tools (such as GitLab, Jenkins, Jira)
Collaborate with an AI team mentor to create proofs of concept with this data to validate potential analytics applications for Wind River Studio
Develop user interfaces, visualizations, and reports to show how customers could use and benefit from the POCs
Write a short technical report summarizing your work, and present your results to internal stakeholders
Education & Experience :
You will need :
Coursework toward a BS, BS equivalent, or higher technical degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical / Software Engineering, Applied Math or Physics, Analytics, or other data-oriented STEM field.
Graduates of strong bootcamps in software development or data science are also invited to apply.
Experience with development toolsets and IDEs (such as VS Code, GitLab, software testing and coverage tools)
Familiarity with at least one major programming language or framework (e.g. C / C++, Node.js, Java, Go, Rust)
Proficiency in Python (preferred : including common machine learning, statistical, and data wrangling packages) and SQL
Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies
Exceptional team player who works well in diverse, distributed collaborative environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
It will be great if you also have :
Experience with iterative development of software and analytical models in an agile team environment
Development experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience developing machine learning models, natural language processing, or time series data analysis
History of contributing to open source communities or professional organizations
