UI designers use design research, branding, and responsive design to translate the look and feel of a digital product across devices.
UI Designer will be responsible for leading design sprints, workshops, and safaris. Using traditional UI methodologies, design thinking principles, techniques, and narrative storytelling.
Will work closely with the development team to prepare the designs for the next stage.
What you’ll need to be successful :
3+ years of application / interaction design experience
2+ years presenting to + persuading customers
2+ years of Design Sprint + Workshop participation / facilitation
2+ years of designing digital solutions for mobile, web + responsive platforms
Preternatural abilities laying out digital data + information hierarchies
Up-to-date knowledge of popular products, visual trends + interface patterns
Success at navigating multiple projects + determining priority focus
This will be considered a plus :
Introduced new software, procedures, or techniques that your team adopted as the new standard
2+ years turning complex Enterprise problems into elegant solutions
2+ years creating consumer-facing products across multiple-platforms
2+ years writing pithy, inspirational + convincing marketing copy
2+ years coding some kind of language, from HTML / CSS to Swift
2+ years building a product in some no-code solution, from WordPress to Bubble
These will be your primary / secondary responsibilities :
Ideation from concept to roll-out, as a whole or in pieces
Create low-fi to hi-fi interactive prototypes and wireframes
Build product and process flows for solutions, from digital to analog
System, product, and process mapping
Create service blueprints
Defining complex user personas, stories, scenarios, goals, and journeys
Write competitive and user research documentation
Design customer and public-facing presentations
Provide conclusions, reports, and next-step recommendations
Design seamless micro-interactions and transitions to motivate audiences
User interviews, testing, and reporting
Write motivating copy and compelling brand foundations
Translate data-rich wireframes into usable, elegant user interfaces
Work quickly and efficiently on high volumes of creative deliverables
Prepare components and assets that developers can cleanly inspect
Provide annotations and requirements when necessary
Provide layout and formatting for different device types and sizes
Bring designs to life by creating interactive prototypes as needed
