The Division Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) is Comet’s largest division and a global leader in developing and producing high-performance Vacuum Capacitors, RF Matches and RF Generators for the semiconductor industry.
What will you be doing?
This includes but is not limited to :
Strong capability for mechanical (including cosmetics) and electrical inspection of finished and raw materials
Assist with the documentation of first articles (FAIR) supplied to customers
Able to read a print and understand dimensioning schemes; a GDT understanding is a plus.
A good working knowledge on how to use simple incoming inspection instruments (e.g. calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.).
Able to complete, with little supervision, both first article mechanical measurements along with normal inspection activities.
Able to read and follow print requirements and make good judgements for part acceptance based on general workmanship requirements which includes cleanliness and cosmetics.
Can effectively communicate inspection results to engineering and management as well as to respective vendors.
Able to complete outgoing product inspection which includes a review of paperwork accuracy, workmanship. Knowledge of RF measurements is a plus.
Able to record and process non-confirming material.
Who are we looking for?
Education and further training, technical expertise, language skills
High School degree (or higher).
Very strong ability to learn and utilize software applications, including SAP and MS Office
Knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with an emphasis on copy exact.
Knowledge of how to read SPC charts and an understanding of out-of-control rules is a plus
Able to speak and write English fluently and good technical communication skills.
