From this modern facility, we provide our innovative COMET X-ray and ebeam source technology and portable X-ray systems to leading manufacturers, research labs and government sites within North and South America.
Serve as the prime Quality interface for customer-related issues, including customer interactions, investigations and issue-resolutions using 8D-methodology, CAPA planning and implementation
Create, implement, and monitor improvement of key performance indicators and metrics from strategic supplier scorecards, customer satisfaction and feedback
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain new processes and procedures where necessary to drive improvements
Incorporate engineering specifications into design, process, or techniques and provide feedback to capture lessons learned
Ensure that solutions / corrective actions achieve required quality levels, reliability, and consistency
Work with Comet suppliers and third-party contractors to determine root cause and corrective actions and document findings and provide feedback
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and / or process capabilities and establishing standards within the company;
familiarity with and use of DFMEA methods
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; make presentations to customers and to internal teams
Work with the NPI team to ensure product quality throughout the product development process
Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data
BS degree, Electrical Engineering focus or similar
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Quality in a Manufacturing environment
Excellent problem solving, creativity, analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with an emphasis on copy exact
Strong understanding of PCB / PCBA layout, design manufacturing
Experience with data and extraction of information to drive Quality improvements
Outstanding PC skills, especially dealing with large amounts of data, databases and reporting
SAP experience is strongly desired
Solid understanding of Statistical Process Control and Out of Control Action Plans
Experience in a smaller company environment a plus with teamwork approach
