Senior DevOps Engineer
Gorilla Logic is working with our client, who is an industry leader in providing web and mobile content globally, to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable DevOps Engineers.
Based in Los Angeles, CA, this is a unique and highly technical role, requiring extensive experience with continuous integration, Amazon Web Services, networking, security, Linux and application monitoring.

Work with the engineering teams to improve, expand, in some cases define, our builds, deployments and infrastructure
Experience with High Availability setups using multiple strategies (master / slave, federation, etc.)
Have built infrastructure to detect problems, monitor health and performance of servers
Production Issues Support
Hands-on technical expert in the DevOps
Experience scaling infrastructure that interacts with 3rd party services
The ability to communicate effectively with thoughtfulness and maturity
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with very strong, large scale AWS automation / autoscaling / failover
AWS Services (EC2, ELB, Elastic Cache Cluster, DynamoDB, Kinesis, AutoScaling, SNS, Route 53, Lambda, API Gateway, OpsWorks, Cloud Formation, Cloud Front, IAM with Cross account policies, AWS CLI)
Experience with Chef is critical
Ruby and Bash experience
Large-volume consumer web infrastructure and security experience
2+ years experience building and managing a continuous integration environment such as Jenkins, Hudson, CircleCI or TravisCI
5+ years of Linux experience including experience with shell scripting, networking, storage and release management
Experience working with Github
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
Terraform, Ansible, Salt Stack
Multiplatform CI awareness a plus
Mobile (iOS and Android) and OTT apps CI / CD Flow
Create / maintain documentation
