The StS Centres of Expertise under GBS will service Procurement centrally and at End Market level across the StS process including owning and managing a central repository of templates to support these processes.
They are expected to work in partnership with Procurement to ensure a user-friendly experience and that actions are being executed in alignment with both the global GBS strategy and global Procurement strategy.
Each Centre will be made up of a mixture of highly skilled, trained and knowledgeable procurement resources delivering specific activities within StS.
This includes sourcing preparation and execution, analytics and reporting, support in contract management, supplier onboarding, supplier screening, ABAC and KYS procedures, and catalogue creation and catalogue maintenance.
They will ensure a high level of customer service to Procurement and end users globally.
A new StS solution is being developed and deployed globally between 2019 2022 and each Centre will be expected to use the solution to fulfil Procurement obligations in complete alignment with Procurement and LEX.
GBS will be expected to work closely with Procurement to ensure targets and objectives are being met.
To support and conduct risk management / due diligence processes to support the Procurement teams globally for new suppliers
To complete the process for Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABAC) for new suppliers onboarded, working closely with the relationship owner and Legal & External Affairs (LEX).
To review and assess the financial history of a company to determine risk of failure, based on financial data and present analysis, findings, and recommendations to procurement managers based on analysis and assessment of credit risk
To review outputs from checking sanctions at an End Market level
Supporting other due diligence requirements, as applicable with the procurement teams
To monitor and conduct regular and timely risk assessments and reviews of existing suppliers on the StS solution, as per the risk governance and framework
To maintain databases, where necessary of due diligence checks completed for audit purposes
To provide reporting to the necessary functions on progress of due diligence or for escalation purposes
To respond to user queries about completion of supplier risk procedures and update procedures where necessary
To assist on tasks supporting Pcards, SOX reporting, Approved Authority Guidelines (AAG) updates, Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) tracking and supplier screening (e.g. ABAC).
Assists System administrators with tasks supporting Weighted Average Payment Terms (WAPT) maintenance, SAP enhancement testing and system access requests ShareFile, SAP, ARMS.
Assists with process documentation updates.
Performs other support / admin functions as required / approved.
Experience & Knowledge
Prior experience in supplier risk with familiarity expected for various levels of risk and compliance in accordance with Procurement and supplier management
Prior experience in working under regulations for anti-bribery, corruption and other risk desirable.
Experience and knowledge around 3rd party risk management including processes and procedures
Advanced knowledge of corporate regulations and legislation globally to ensure the effective establishment and roll out of supplier risk procedures
High level of risk awareness and a clear motivation to drive risk awareness to the business
Understanding and evaluation of financial data, such as balance sheets, income statements
Ability to utilize a variety of software platforms and solutions to manage risk management activities (i.e. Dun and Bradstreet, World Check)
High level of compliance understanding and regulations including external legislation awareness
Strong interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries to drive commitment to supplier risk given criticality of activities including with Category Managers, Geographic and Group Heads of Procurement, and Sourcing Managers
Strong project management skills to coordinate all GBS supplier risk tasks centrally

Qualifications & Training
Certification or training on any 3rd party risk management framework will be desirable
Two to five years of strong quantitative experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other business related field
