The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data, the underlying business and the all aspects of the customer.
They will analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics, as well as assimilating new methodologies and data sources.
The Business Analyst will define and standardize data and reporting mechanisms that currently vary or do not yet exist. This position will understand the information needs of business management, and work with the BI team to build reports that drive insights into financial performance, defects and their root causes.
Responsibilities may include :
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling them into actionable format
Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams
Define data structures for global reporting purposes
Design automated reporting solutions that enable business leaders to make effective decisions; prepare Business Requirement Documents
Drive projects, working with various stakeholders including business users and BI engineering teams
Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation
Data proficiency and a mastery of SQL
Strong expertise of Tableau and other visualisation tools
Outstanding analytical skills
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field
3+ years of experience in a business analyst / data analyst / statistical analyst role
3+ years of experience conducting analysis, using e.g. Excel
Ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
MBA with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis.
Self-efficient working style in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable is a major plus
Proficiency of VBA, C# or Python
Further expectations are a self-starter mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong attention to detail.
