Duties & Responsibilities
Teradyne, the industry leader in Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment, is in need of a dynamic, technically skilled engineer to support our new product development program.
This Engineer will be responsible for executing the Manufacturing Engineering activities required to support the introduction of new Printed Circuit Board Assemblies including Guideline Development, Component Assessment, factory prototype support and release to high volume production.Key Responsibilities : >
Support the broader DFM / DFT organization through PCBA Fault Down activities, component assessment and component information tracking, Design Guideline updates and NPI Process and procedure document development>
Work with cross functional engineering, project management and contract manufacturing teams to support new PCBA development through component assessment, design reviews, PFMEA's, factory readiness and fault down activities.>
Support new product release to high volume manufacturing by driving phase gate release activities for PCBA's
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Bachelors Degree in technical discipline such as Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. (2-5+ years industry experience in electronics manufacturing and assembly a plus).
Position Subject to ITAR / FOUO controls
