We’re looking for an experienced, curious and passionate Head of Sales to help optimize and manage the Mexico operation. You will need to be quick thinking, creative and have a strategic mind and the necessary leadership skills to build a strong team.
Develop a region learning and development strategy for different areas.
Implement a commercial training and daily activities for the sales team.
Build a global sales team that supports current and future business needs in a proactive way.
Build a strong sales strategy based on Rappi's business plan.
Consistently manage relationships with partners to open new doors for new opportunities.
Monitor the sales team, track the sales activity and results.
Required skills and experience
University graduate in Marketing, Economics or Business Administration.
8+ years of work experience with at least some experience in operations - startup or tech experience is a big plus.
Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a highly dynamic and constantly changing environment.
Strong project management experience.
Exceptional business judgement and critical thinking skills.
A strong track record of building, leading and developing a high performing team.
Strong leadership and people management skills - you will set the tone for your team and broader teams in the region; driving towards results while also being empathetic towards their challenges - EQ is a must-have.
Disciplined organizational skills - you’ll need to prioritize and manage a series of ongoing processes and projects simultaneously.
The ability to create and drive strategy but also roll up your sleeves and be proactive.
